JAMES C. MEEHAN, M.D.

Dr. Meehan received a congressional appointment to West Point, the United States Military Academy. As a West Point cadet Dr. Meehan excelled in academics, athletics, and leadership. He was recognized as the Outstanding Fourth Class Cadet and selected to lead his classmates as Regimental Commander of the Corps of Cadets.

Dr. Meehan attended Oklahoma University College of Medicine where he served as class president and received the prestigious Presbyterian-Harris Medical Student Research Scholarship. This research award allowed him to pursue research in ophthalmology at the Dean McGee Eye Institute.

After completing an internship in internal medicine at Oklahoma University in Tulsa, Jim began his training at Washington University and Barnes-Jewish hospital in St. Louis, a top-ten ranked ophthalmology residency program. In addition to serving as chief resident of the John Cochran VA medical center, Dr. Meehan served three years as an associate editor for the Journal of Ocular Immunology.

Dr. Meehan is now focused on the mission of delivering preventive and proactive health care using patient-centered IT practices. He is fulfilling a passion to empower consumers with information and intelligent solutions for continuous home measurement and self-monitoring of their health biomarkers.

Dr. Meehan holds a third degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do, and he is an NAGA World Jiu-Jitsu Champion, and inducted member of the Martial Arts Masters Hall of Fame.

Dr. Richard W. Walker, Jr., was born in New York City, a trailblazer and champion of Integrated Medicine specializing in Age Management, Functional & Environmental Medicine.

Dennis Goodman, M.D. is one of the nation’s premiere heart doctors. He is currently a cardiologist and Director of Integrative Medicine at New York Medical Associates in Manhattan where he specializes in prevention, early detection and treatment of cardiovascular disease. And he serves as Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine of the Leon H. Charney Division of Cardiology of NYU School of Medicine. He continues to serve as both a board of director for the American Heart Association and as the Medical Director of the Cardiac Treatment Center at Scripps Memorial Hospital since 2002.

BACKGROUND

Born in South Africa, Dr. Goodman graduated Cum Laude from the University of Cape Town Medical School in 1979. He interned at Grootte Schuur Hospital in Cape Town (where the first heart transplant was performed in 1969). He moved to the U.S. and completed his Internal Medicine residency at Montefiore Hospital in Pittsburgh as Chief Medical Resident. He did his cardiology fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine (associated with Dr. Michael DeBakey) in Houston Texas. He is now Board Certified in internal medicine, cardiology, interventional cardiology, critical care, clinical lipidology, holistic/integrative medicine and Cardiac CT imaging.

In 1988, Dr. Goodman joined Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla, California, where he became Chief of Cardiology and Medical Director of Cardiac Rehabilitation Program.  He also served at the renowned Scripps Center for Integrative Medicine in La Jolla. From 1989 to 2009 he served as Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of San Diego. From 2009 to 2010, he was Director of the Chest Pain Unit for Bellevue Hospital at NYU.

Dr. Goodman formulated a natural cardiovascular supplement to help treat cholesterol problems. And he has authored
